Root chemicals and DNA sequences were analyzed for Ligularia virgaurea collected in the northern Sichuan Province and adjacent areas of China. Thirty-eight samples were found to contain five chemotypes, two known and three new ones. From samples of the new chemotypes, 13 new compounds were isolated, including 3 sesquiterpene dimers and some rearranged eremophilanes. The DNA sequences suggested that the chemotype differentiation had a genetic origin. 相似文献

The ring‐opening copolymerization of donor–acceptor norbornadiene (D–A NBD) dicarboxylic acid monoglycidyl ester derivatives with D–A NBD dicarboxylic acid anhydride was performed with tetraphenylphosphonium bromide as a catalyst in toluene to produce new norbornadiene (NBD) polyesters containing D–A NBD moieties in the main chain and in the side chain in one step in good yields. The photoisomerization of the D–A NBD moieties in these polyesters proceeded very smoothly to give the corresponding quadricyclane groups. Because these NBD polyesters contained many NBD moieties in the polymer chain, they had the highest capacity for heat storage in the D–A NBD polymers reported so far. The stored thermal energy of the irradiated polyesters was evaluated by differential scanning calorimetry analysis to be approximately 150–190 J/g. © 2005 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. In our previous paper, structural changes of selenium powders ground by a planetary ball mill at various rotational speeds
were investigated for the nanostructural modification of particles using mechanical grinding process. The experimental results
indicated that the amorphisation of Se by grinding accompanies lattice strain, and the lattice strain arises from impact energy
which is more than an energy related to intermolecular interaction. In this paper, molecular dynamics simulations of selenium
have been carried out under compressing conditions of various pressure strengths for obtaining information of the lattice
strain at atomic level. Then, dynamical behaviour of atomic configuration has been discussed in this process. The structural
disordering and formation of the structural defects were estimated by deviations of bond length and angle and the number of
created defects before and after compressing from simulated results. The disordering took place during compressing at various
pressure strengths, and the disordered atoms return to their initial positions at lower pressure. Stable disordered state
and defects after the compression can however remain by compression at more than a certain pressure strength mainly associated

Electron beams with the lowest, normalized transverse emittance recorded so far were produced and confirmed in single-bunch-mode operation of the Accelerator Test Facility at KEK. We established a tuning method of the damping ring which achieves a small vertical dispersion and small x-y orbit coupling. The vertical emittance was less than 1% of the horizontal emittance. At the zero-intensity limit, the vertical normalized emittance was less than 2.8 x 10(-8) rad m at beam energy 1.3 GeV. At high intensity, strong effects of intrabeam scattering were observed, which had been expected in view of the extremely high particle density due to the small transverse emittance. 相似文献

The resonant Raman scattering of polar optical phonons has been measured in trigonal γ-InSe at the E'1 exciton edge. The two-phonon scattering spectrum widely spreads over the frequency range of 50 cm-1 with an extremely asymmetric lineshape. Clean surfaces of GaAs and GaP were studied by field-ion microscope (FIM). Field-ion images with ordered surfaces were first obtained in pure hydrogen, neon-50% hydrogen and pure neon gases at 78 K, by using channeltron electron multiplier arrays (CEMA). The field-ion images of GaAs were quite similar to those of GaP with respect to the surface structure and the image contrast. They showed the anisotropies of the ion emission and the surface structure between the [111] and orientations. Ring steps expected from a spherical surface were observed on the (111) and {100} planes, but not on the and {110} planes. The regional brightness of the FIM patterns was discussed in terms of the Knor and Müller model and the atomic and electronic structures of the surface. The image field of these crystals was much lower than that of metals usually used in FIM. For example, the image field strength for the hydrogen and GaAs system was about 1.1 V/Å. The reduction of the field necessary to image was also discussed in terms of the field penetration effect. 相似文献
